Welcome to the main page for English 436b: Twentieth-Century British and Irish Literature after World War II at the University of Victoria. This year the focus is on post-War British Fiction and the Rise of Youth Culture. We’ll look at a series of novels written in the decades after WWII, their film versions, and the youth cultures they defined. The course runs in the fall term 2015.
